I really appreciate that in your description you say "not only changing my body but my relationship with it." It's such a mental process, along with being a physical one! Please post the results of your survey! I'd be very interested. And I'd really like it if you'd check out my new blog! www.hangryhippo.com
I'm really interested to see the results from this questionaire. While looking at the choices, I realized something-- a lot of the reasons I was overweight to begin with (genetics, family environment, abuse, etc) might have worked as excuses/reasons for say, the first 15 or so years of my life... but these last (nearly) 15, that's all they've been-- excuses to not step up and take the responsibility of caring for myself.
I can't say that applies to everyone, but at least in my case, it's the truth.
I am very interested to hear what results you get from these surveys!
ReplyDeletei think you can get fat happy or sad. i eat when i'm happy, excited, sad, mad, bored, etc. i eat just as much when i'm happy as i do when i'm sad!
ReplyDeleteI'm not disputing that you can be happy and fat, but can you become overweight/obese and be happy? I think those people are the extreme minority.
